Find Me Help offers the U.K.'s most comprehensive database of services for people in the last years of life and their families, carers and friends. We currently have details of 1199 organisations providing 3337 services.

Find Me Help also includes the U.K.'s best used guide on all aspects of approaching the end of life.

This database and guide is available to set up as a micro-site, reflecting your branding and linked from your existing website.

Find Me Help is for any organisation whose service users are dealing with the end of life. This includes hospices, GP surgeries, solicitors, funeral directors and advice agencies. Find Me Help also works well for large employers wanting to support their staff.

THE UK's LARGEST DATABASE OF SERVICES FOR THE END OF LIFE

Find Me Help is the UK's most complete database of services for people in the last years of life and those close to them.
Users search for he services nearest to them by entering a postcode or location in the search field. The advanced search allows results to be refined by 31 service categories (e.g. 'Bereavement' or 'Equipment') and 35 specific needs (e.g. 'LGBT' or 'Children and young people').
There is a national services directory listing 125 services that are represented across the U.K.
Users of the site can add, claim and amend organisations at any point using our secure system. Updates are instantly shared with all Find Me Help users.
Find Me Help also includes a profiling tool, displaying organisations and services in a specific area (i.e. local authority, region or country) which shows the provision of services across the UK and can help to identify gaps. This is to support professionals with needs assessment, commissioning and networking.


INFORMATION AND GUIDANCE SECTION

Find Me Help includes a clear, comprehensive and helpful guide for those approaching the end of life and their carers, relatives and friends.
It contains information about what to expect during end of life care and the things you may want to think about, including where you would like to be cared for.
There is guidance on planning ahead, talking about death and dying, what to do when someone dies and coping with bereavement.
This section was written by Sue Brayne, author of "The D-Word: Taking About Dying" and is continually reviewed and updated.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Find Me Help is available as a microsite that reflects your organisation’s brand and can be linked directly with your organisation’s main website.
Branding features include use of your organisation’s logo and two brand colours, as well as an ‘about us’ section and prominent link back to your main website.
Find Me Help includes a specific interface for smart phones and tablets as well as desktop computers making it perfect for people on the go.
You can set your local postcode as the default search location, so that users in your area can immediately find what they are looking for
The micro-site can have be hosted on a subdomain of findmehelp.org.uk (e.g. ncpc.findmehelp.org.uk) or on a custom domain name (e.g. help.ncpc.org.uk)
You can track visitors to your version of the micro-site by embedding Google Analytics code and reporting via your own website Analytics account
No maintenance or support costs are incurred. There are automated updates of listings from the parent database and information content curated by Dying Matters

The pricing of Find Me Help has deliberately been kept low in order to be accessible to the widest range of organisations. There is an additional reduction for National Council for Palliative Care subscribers.
Find Me Help is intended to be of interest to all organisations whose service users may be dealing with the end of life. This includes but is not restricted to hospices, GPs surgeries, solicitors, funeral directors and advice agencies. It also works well for large employers looking to support their staff.
